Email #2: Digg Up Those Sites!

Dear <firstname> ,

Sometimes when you surf online, you come across
a site you like, so you bookmark it. Once you
have bookmarked it, you can log on to any computer
around the world with internet access and retrieve
the URLs of those sites!

But social bookmark sites can do much more than that.
Lets take a look at an example of such a site Digg.com

Digg.com is a very popular community that users visit
daily to share content and post new site discoveries. You
can simply submit your website to Digg, and with the
frequency of crawling and popularity within sites like
Google and other search engines, it's likely going to index
your site quite easily.

You can Digg your own websites, blogs, and articles.
Then Digg users can vote up or down for it, whether they
 like it or not.

If you have a really interesting article for example and
others like it, your Digg can move up the list and youll
get more traffic.

Tip: A good rule to follow is to Digg 50% your own items
and 50% other people's items. You dont have to do this,
this is just a rule to make sure you stay safe. This will keep
your account at Digg untouched and not make you look like
a spammer.

Digg wont bring in massive amounts of traffic unless your
Digg gets really popular...so there's only one thing to do: Make
yourself popular!

To your social marketing explosion,
